womanart magazine was a feminist art magazine published between Summer 1976 and Spring 1978 that sought to supplement the-then omission and suppression of women artists from the literature of art.

Through feature articles, exhibition reviews and news reports, we increased the available literature about women artists both quantitatively and qualitatively.
